The Career Sessions take place on Friday 28th September and even if you are not there on the day, they are filmed and archived on the GamesIndustry International website for all to share, offering an ongoing legacy for the event and providing rich original careers and education content to our readers.
The Career Sessions are about informing, educating and sharing expert knowledge, and the Q&A; panel format offers a relaxed environment in which to share some great stories and anecdotes about life as a games maker in the modern videogames industry.

The GamesIndustry Career Fair has been a cornerstone event of the UK recruitment and education calendar for many years and provides a major platform for educators, employers and recruitment companies. Now, as part of the expanded GamesIndustry Fair, the Careers & Education focus of the show is even larger.

Taking place on Thursday 27th September, Games Invest is a unique opportunity for publishers and investors to meet a range of the best, most exciting, innovative and dynamic games companies in Europe.
Last year's event welcomed more than 100 attendees, 60+ games and tech companies, speakers and investors. Games Invest 2012 has already confirmed the participation of games investors, publishers and platform-holders including We R Interactive, SCEE XDev, and Ian Livingstone OBE, Life President of Square Enix.
In addition to invaluable networking, presentations and a special panel featuring publishers, investors and specialists in the sector, Games Invest offers a bespoke format for organising formal meetings between publishers, investors and developers, held in private meeting rooms on the afternoon of the event.
Last year's event resulted in more than 30 private meetings between games companies and investors, with many more expected for Games Invest 2012.
