The New Zealand-based Bionic Shark Studios has released MiG Madness, a Korean War-era shoot-'em-up inspired by Konami's arcade classic Time Pilot.
MiG Madness keeps its objectives simple: players must shoot down squadrons of enemy planes and collect power-ups throughout dozens of waves of increasing difficulty.
A number of tweaks and additions make it a worthy expansion to the Time Pilot formula; the game features multiple secondary weapon pick-ups, a day-night cycle, and a four-player co-op mode. I had a lot of fun with it, and it's worth a look if you enjoyed games like Time Pilot and MiniSquadron.
MiG Madness is priced at 80 Microsoft points.
