It’s like these people exist in a world where radio doesn’t exist.

I’ve yet to see anyone regretting an upgrade from the stock earbuds.
I’ve yet to see anyone regret adding another 4gb of ram to their desktop when they already had 4gb.
That doesn’t stop the fact that 4gb is good for most people.

These are .79-cent earbuds that are only acceptable to those who couldn’t care less and don’t know any better.
I.E. most people on this planet.

They don’t care who you trust nor anybody else either
First, I can trust and not trust whoever I want. If a someone who likes to steal isn’t welcome in my house because I don’t trust them, the fact that they don’t care isn’t going to stop me from keeping them away. Opinions work both ways.
The foundation of the relationship between any business and their customer is trust. If what you say is true, then Amazon is screwed in the long term.

^Possible beginning of Amazon receiving more criticism for its vague numbers. All it has to do is snowball. Or maybe you think Amazon doesn’t care about that either. In which case, why even release vague statements in the first place?

Yea, I think Gruber made a mistake there. The Verge in the past has recognize that all of the ultrabooks were basically ripoffs of the Macbook Air. After a long line of blatant copies, it’s pointless to keep mentioning that they are indeed copies over and over and over when all you have to do is post the pics and specs and let them speak for itself. It’s not like The Verge said the design was original.
It’s the job of fanboys like Gruber to point out the daily copying. Not a general technology news site.

No, actually, it’s not.
Where did I say that?
It is perfectly fair to compare marketshare to marketshare. And it’s perfectly fair to compare profit share to profit share.

Regardless, copying is copying in the end. Just copying something mainstream and profitable is worse.
That’s actually pretty a good way of thinking about it. At the end of the day, to copy something unpopular and make it popular is better than to copy something popular and hope the popularity rubs off on your copy.

It was a master salesman at work — and his work seems to have been extremely effective.
I miss him. But there will be someone in the future who is just as great. :)

It’s perfectly fair. Just like it’s fair to compare the iPhone’s marketshare to Android’s even though Android is on more carriers.
The difference being that while the iPhone dominates the profits, the iPad dominates that (I’m sure) and the marketshare.
