    At the time this computer was the most amazing thing—so small, so shiny, such an elegantly minimalist design. Until the MacBook Air arrived, it was still Apple’s most portable portable.

    I still use this laptop. My current plan is to replace it on its 10th anniversary. Obviously it is slow by modern standards, and its battery is too ancient to hold a charge for very long, but it is otherwise in perfect working order and useful for reading web sites and writing stuff.
