onlive microconsole controller stock 1024

"I'm the one that brought you here. I'm the one that ultimately made decisions, and I'm the one that ultimately takes responsibility. So I am sorry, and it didn't end up exactly as we'd hoped."

Two Fridays ago, Steve Perlman told the 200 employees of cloud gaming company OnLive that it was all his fault. He thanked them for their hard work, and then he had HR show them the door with no...

LG Optimus G: hands-on with a 4.7-inch Android 4.0 powerhouse

Gallery Photo: LG Optimus G hands-on photos

We got to spend a few minutes with LG’s new Optimus G at NTT Docomo’s understated launch event in Tokyo, and at first blush the "president phone" looks to be quite an impressive piece of hardware. The quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro is a serious chip, and in the Optimus G it feels every bit as snappy as early benchmarks indicate. Perhaps partly to show it off, LG is including a new video playback app that allows users to pinch-to-zoom and scroll across HD videos while they’re playing, a task the processor had no problem dealing with — we didn't notice so much as a dropped frame. It’s an impressive technical feat, and provides some real value as well.

By the same token, the 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 LCD is impressively bright and crisp — without a doubt one of the best displays we’ve seen on any device. As for the size, at 8.45...

Gallery Photo: Maingear Solo 21 all-in-one PC official photos

The Maingear Solo 21 all-in-one desktop has been redesigned, coupling support for Intel's third-generation Ivy Bridge processors with a fresh new look. The update tosses out its predecessor's easel-like stand in favor of an L-shape reminiscent of Apple's iMac. The Solo 21 is notably one of a few all-in-ones to offer an upgrade-friendly chassis — you'll be able to swap out all of the components yourself, including the mini-ITX motherboard. Alas, there are no discrete GPU options, so you're...

On that stage, on that day in Boston, they announced the formation of a new website; the culmination of months of research, debate, and...
