The ultimate mobile GPU meets Intel's awesome new Sandy Bridge CPU
An incredible machine boasting strong performance and impressive features
The Mojave is a powerful laptop offering a good compromise between cost and performance
An excellent combination of power and portability, if slightly lacking in style
Kobalt makes gaming laptops, using a generic chassis crammed with the latest technology. The most impressive laptop in the company’s line-up is the Comanche SLI (£3080 inc. VAT). Setting it apart from the others, there’s a desktop processor at its heart.
The gaming laptop is a tricky beast to review - as a value proposition they are not considered a bargain, but as a display of the latest mobile gaming tech they can undoubtedly be mighty impressive. The Mojave XI from Kobalt then is a beautiful display of how powerful a notebook can be... for a not inconsiderable price.
