The Role:
Our Client a global organisation with their Australian headquarters based in Sydney, have an immediate requirement for a SAP Project Manager to join their organisation. The successful candidate will manage SAP projects and upgrades from start to finish successfully, on time, on budget and with a high degree of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute business projects, that includes all project steps and uses accepted project management practices
For each project establish and manage all stakeholders expectations and contributions
Seek and obtain formal sign-off at the earliest stages of project proposal, kick off, milestones and completion.
Monitor project progress and communicate the necessary information to the business to ensure project success and to agreed timetables
Ensure compliance with policy
Project team (internal and external) has the necessary skills and resources to competently do their job
Team responsibilities are documented and understood
Projects managed using conventional tools to deliver business success
Processes are correctly aligned and meet or exceed business expectations
Projects delivered to budget and on time
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
Tertiary qualified
Project management experience
SAP user experience
SAP Upgrade experience
10 years SAP experience
15 years business minimum
Team management experience
Desirable
SAP Functional certification
