Registered Bots Players Hits 1 Million

Acclaim Games has announced that Bots, its free-to-play, massively online multiplayer robot fighting game now has 1 million registered players.

Like all of Acclaim’s titles, Bots is free to download and play. Released in November 2006, the title is supported by in-game advertising and purchasable in-game items which enhance the Bots experience.

"One million players says it all, our fans want multiplayer social games using the free to play model," said Howard Marks, CEO Acclaim Games.

To commemorate the milestone Acclaim will hold a Bots 1 million players event from May 2-7 where gamers can play to win prizes, earn major points, and enjoy special offers on in-game items.
