Tate Farms Wedding – Casi & Brad – part 2! Nashville, TN Wedding Photographer

So many good things in the pipeline for the blog!!  I have 3 weddings that I haven’t blogged after this one, so I’ve got to get on it this week because Saturday brings another amazing day!!  Have I mentioned how much I LOVED this wedding at Tate Farms???  These two are the epitome of what I love to photograph!!  I may or may not have wanted to show every image from their first dance as husband and wife!  So much joy on their faces!!  Don’t worry, I didn’t show all of them, but there are more than the norm!  Oh, but don’t forget the ceremony!!  There are no words for the emotion!!  Casi’s brother and sister were both involved in the ceremony & I always think it’s so special when the families pray over the new husband and wife.  I may also be mildly obsessed with the flower girls in their boots!  I could go on and on about everything I love, but I know that you really just want to see the pictures of everything, so I’ll wrap it up!!  Casi & Brad – Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me into your lives and into your big day!!  I adore you guys and everything about your wedding day (*even the 95 degree heat:)!!!  Lots of love to you and your families!!  I couldn’t be happier for you!!!

Tate Farms Wedding – Casi & Brad, May 26, 2012 – Nashville Wedding Photographer

It all started at a concert for these two.  Brad was seated behind Casi & she kept having to step up beside him to get out of the way for others coming in and out of her row.  A little chatting ensued and the rest, as they say, is history.  Not too long after that, Casi said she knew she was going to marry him, which she said was admittedly out of character.  The two continued to date and not too long after, Brad proposed on a hiking trip and even managed to capture photographic evidence of the moment!  Now, that’s the kind of guy I like to be around!!  These two are so in love, and such amazing people.  I have no doubt God has big things in store for them, and I feel so blessed that I got to be a part of the beginning of their life together!!  I admit to crying more than once the day of their wedding and then again as I scrolled through the images for this blog post.  I also admit to picking about 250 images for their blog post!!  I’ve narrowed that down a bit, but I’m still going to post it in 2 parts.  For today, I’m going to take you right up until ceremony time!

The wedding took place at Tate Farms in Meridianville, AL.  This place is well known to those in the surrounding area for the pumpkin patch they have in the fall.  I can also guess that they’re well known for their amazing playground and jump thing (i have no idea what it’s called, but it’s awesome)!!  They’ve branched out into weddings the last several years, and are currently doing some construction to update and make it even more fabulous.  The owners were hands on, super nice, and amazingly helpful!!  It wasn’t a bad drive from Nashville, and I’m tempted to take my kiddos back come October!!  Casi & Brad chose to do a First Look prior to the ceremony so we knocked out some photos before hand.  However, that yummy light that we all know and love made it’s appearance after ceremony time, so of course we went back for more goodness afterward!  I will share all of that very soon, but for now enjoy this peek into their day!

Bridal Portraits – Jenni Beth – Lebanon & Nashville, TN Wedding Photographer

Jenni Beth & Cody were married on Saturday at a gorgeous backyard wedding.  I cannot wait to share the details from their day, but I’ve been dying for a few weeks now to post Jenni Beth’s bridal portraits.  I was lucky enough to have my awesome friend and photographer, Rebecca Walker, come along with me to these.  I can say for certain that I having someone at a bridal to help with the dress, flowers, and shooting different angles is awesome, and I’m so thankful for her and the amazing shots that she captured!  We had an absolutely gorgeous day for these, although I think I could put this beautiful girl anywhere and she’d look amazing!  Sheesh…she is stunning you guys!  Take a look at a few from her bridal session, and stay tuned for some fun wedding posts later this week!!

Middle TN Farm Wedding – Valyn & Robert – May 12, 2012 – Lebanon & Nashville, TN Wedding Photographer

A couple of weeks ago now, I had the honor of photographing Valyn & Robert’s wedding.  I didn’t get the chance to meet these two until a few months prior to their wedding due to crazy schedules, and the fact that one of Valyn’s talented friends, who is also a photographer, took their engagement photos for them.  When I did finally get to meet them, I felt like everything just clicked, and I knew that I would love their wedding.  Valyn’s parents live on a beautiful piece of property in Gordonsville, TN, which served as the venue for both the ceremony and the reception!  They did a FABULOUS job putting everything together and it was absolutely gorgeous!  We worried about rain all day, and had some showers during the reception, and thanks to their back-up plan, they’d moved the reception indoors and nothing was interrupted in the least!  If you are looking for a beautiful piece of farm land to host your wedding, be sure to let me know and I can put you in touch with these fine folks who can tell you more about Outback Farm!

Now on to these two…What can I say?!!  They are absolutely perfect for one another!  As I mentioned, my time with them before the wedding was short and sweet, but just 2 minutes in their presence and you can feel their love for one another.  I’m so not exaggerating!!  Their first look might be one of my all time favorites.  Robert could not get over how amazing Valyn looked, and just went on and on about it.  I loved every minute of it.  The ceremony was perfect, and afterward as I photographed them from afar, I almost teared up at the emotion they had in that moment.  I’ve said it once already, but I love the way they love one another – out loud, on purpose, and they’re not afraid to show it:)!!  Simply amazing!  On top of being completely smitten with one another, they also know just how to work the camera!  They are such naturals that if I just put them near each other, they’d find a comfortable pose and look great doing it!  Talk about a dream couple!  I loved being a part of your wedding day, and I hope you love this preview of your photos!!

Bridal Portraits at The Hermitage – Casi, Nashville & Mt. Juliet, TN Wedding Photographer

Casi & Brad were married this past Saturday in Alabama, and I can finally post her bridal portraits!  Last month, I met Casi and what turned out to be alot of her family, for her bridal portraits.  I love the way this family does everything together, and that they were all there to help her and support her, even for this!  Her brother drove us around the grounds of The Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson all afternoon, stopping wherever we directed, which literally could’ve been every 12 feet!  The grounds there are amazing, and we had the most beautiful weather and light the day of her session.  Casi is so much fun, and extremely photogenic, making it almost impossible to narrow down what to post!  Be on the lookout for her wedding post in the near future!!
