All I can say is leave Father Pfleger where he is! He is doing a lot of good for the community in which he serves.

The catholic church represents people like Mother Teresa that spent her life living in poverty to help children. Even the pope lives a simple meager life. Why is it Christians are sad when someone dies? Shouldn't they be giving each other high-fives in honor of their lucky friend/relative who get's immortality in the most wonderful place in existence?

Certain apologists for the pedophile-protecting hierarchy seem to prefer the term "hebephilia", since this description deflects blame from the perpetrators to the victims by the subtle suggestion that the victims were mid-teen, post-pubescent children, and therefore more responsible for their own participation in this scurillous behavior. The fact is that priests prey upon younger and more vulnerable pre-teens who are less able to resist adult authority. Arguing that the situation represents hebephilia rather than true pedophilia is a coy way to suggest that these older teens were old enough to say no, and that "it takes two to tango" .

Sounds like it's time to retire. They need more young priests. Some that have'nt been tainted by the catholic church scandel.

Pedophilia is not a curable or even a treatable condition. The only reasonable approach to dealing with them, and with any members of the church hierarchy who choose to protect them, is to execute them.
