Premium Rush sees Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a bike courier who picks up an envelope that catches the attention of Michael Shannon's dirty cop, who demands that he hand it over. However, "Once it's in the bag, it's in the bag" and chaos ensues in high-speed chases across Manhattan.
Premium Rush is directed by David Koepp, who’s probably better known as a blockbuster writer (Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, Spider-Man) than a director (Stir Of Echoes, Ghost Town). While we weren't intially won over by its premise, were were genuinely impressed by the film's first trailer,, which featured the Inception and Dark Knight Rises star weaving his way through New York traffic.
