SPONSORED: Get rid of unwanted DVDs and Blu-rays at Blockbuster Marketplace

Receive extra account credit on trades this summer

Got some dusty DVDs kicking around that you’re desperate to get rid of? Can’t remember why you bought Jack & Jill on Blu-ray? Well fret no more, because Blockbuster is here to help.

With the Trade In service at Blockbuster, you can trade in any old or unwanted DVDs, Blu-rays and games for cold hard cash, or Blockbuster account credit. And if you’re a Blockbuster member, you can get extra credit on all trades this summer.

It couldn’t be any easier. You don’t have to be a Blockbuster member to trade (though as a member you’ll earn those juicy extra credits) and there’s no minimum number of items you’re allowed to sell.

You’ll receive your cash or credit instantly, and you have the choice of purchasing top nick pre-owned games and movies to fill those holes in your collection.

Meanwhile, Total Film users can earn even more extra credit at Blockbuster this summer, with an additional £1 added onto the trade-in price of Blu-rays, and 50p on DVDs.

Which means you no longer have to feel ashamed at having Showgirls or Legally Blonde 2 cluttering up your shelves. Simply trade them in and make room for shiny new buys – like the glorious Lord Of The Rings Blu-ray boxset, for example.

This is news, is it? Total Film? Total w***es, more like. It may not be a gambling website, but this is shameful, it really is.

like the gambling ad a few months ago, it seems TF hasnt learnt their lesson. This isnt news, its advertising - and putting it in your news section is treating your readers with the utmost contempt.

Hang on.. we're all movie fans aren't we? I'm sure we've all got dvd's that we want to get rid of.. all they are doing is posting an ad letting us do exactly that. It's not selling us anything and as Total Film readers we get more money with trade-ins.. I don't get why you're being so negative. The gambling one I agree with and they pulled it from the site. This seems like an ok offer to me.. and if you don't like it then don't click through on the site.

Actually I agree with CW. Ive been as vocal about some of the rubbish promotions posing as news, but this one is a little different. I actually read this one too. It is of relevance and does have the word 'SPONSORED' in big bold helvetica 75. Cant really grumble about this one
