Lawless sees the Bondurant brothers (Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf) as a pair of bootleggers who find themselves threatened by crooked Southern authorities who are hoping to get a share of their profits.
Based on a true story, The Road's John Hillcoat directs an A-grade cast that also includes Gary Oldman, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, and Guy Pearce.
We've seen the first trailer and were impressed by how Shia LaBeouf seems to finally have a role where he use the charm we so fondly remember from his television days. Hardy and Oldman are on hand to remind us just how badass they are (as if we've forgotten since The Dark Knight Rises).
