MOHAWK GENERAL STORE

so i’ve been showing you some of my favorite LA spots lately. (here - here and here too) today is all about the mohawk general store! it’s wonderfully curated and everything is well made. it is on the pricey side, but the quality is excellent.

a mix of home decor + fashion…

i mostly go in to browse around at all of the interesting displays! it’s also good for birthday gifts or a nice house warming present.

what makes a good housewarming gift, you ask? i think it’s something that you know they would like but maybe wouldn’t splurge on for themselves. for instance, angela got me this retro dustpan and i love it! would i have bought it over the cheap plastic one? maybe not. but i am sure glad she did. this store is perfect for nice candles and fancy soaps.

i’m also a big fan of their leather clutches and striped towels. i bought the towel i am holding in the photo below for next to our bathroom sink…

and don’t worry guys, there is plenty for you there too.

i have a thing for guys in nice shoes!

remember when i posted on oh joy a pair of similar shorts for my vacation uniform? spotted their twin here and i think i like these even better!

make sure to stop in the store if you are in silver lake…it’s right near the sunset junction!

and how cool is that light fixture up above! i would love to have that in my dining room!
