10Organisers of a petition urging BioWare to change the ending of Mass Effect 3 are to cease accepting donations for Child's Play at the charity's request. Writing on the Retake Mass Effect ChipIn page, the campaign's organiser - known only as Robb - says the charity drive has been set an end goal of $80,000; at the time of writing, $79,916.16 has been raised. This, he explains, comes after BioWare founder Dr Ray Muzyka said that fans' voices had been heard, and Child's Play expressed reservations about being seen as backing the movement, which has thousands of supporters on Facebook and Twitter. The campaign, dubbed Retake Mass Effect 3, has almost 25,000 likes on Facebook and 3,000 followers on Twitter, with a poll on BioWare's forums attracting almost 10,000 votes. BioWare says it is aware of an issue preventing Mass Effect 3 players from importing the faces of their characters from previous games in the series. In a post on the studio's forums, community coordinator Chris Priestly writes: "We are aware that some players are having issues importing the faces of their characters from Mass Effect 1 or Mass Effect 2 into Mass Effect 3."
