I'm still waiting for the full word on the 3ds xl backwards compatibility. Every single review (and then some) has bleeted on for ages about every other aspect (fair enough); on and on except how DS games play in this thing? This is the deal breaker for me (and many others i'm sure). I was shitted when I bought a 3ds and realised the DS library was in inferiror quality. Either fuzz or a smaller screen. shit options. Anyone in Europe que me in on this? I love this handheld, but I'm thinking of giving it to the misses and picking up an XL if the backwards compatibility is in crisp resolution. Can't seem to find any solid info on this?

The 1:1 mode on the XL displays DS games at the same size as the DSi.
