Dr. Alan Grant
Hold up, buddy.
Dr. Alan Grant is the main character in the Jurassic Park movies, and plays a similarly large role in the game. Dr. Grant is the resident expert on dinosaurs and will give you tasks such as getting new species and leveling up your carnivores and herbivores.
Above is an example of a mission given by Dr. Grant. Entitled "Write What You Know", this mission asks you to 'Expand the Park' and "Have a Parasaurolophus, the newest dinosaur recreated at Jurassic Park". This is very nearly identical to missions you will receive after decoding the DNA for any given dinosaur in the Research Center. You can find out how to expand the park in the Roads & Expanding section. The dinosaur, in this case the Parasaurolophus, can always be purchased in the Dinosaurs section of the Market. For completing this particular mission you would be rewarded with 850 experience points, 1000 gold, and 1 IGD (In-Game Dollar).
