Assassin's Creed 3 trailer flaunts "the most detailed third-person action character ever created"

Behold the wonders of AnvilNext

Ubisoft's sent over a new Assassin's Creed 3 trailer, showcasing the game's purty AnvilNext engine. It's a slick montage of extraordinarily handsome environments, dynamic weather effects, period costumes and crunchy combat.

You should already be familiar with Connor, the part Native American, part English protagonist. He's a man of few words, like all Assassins, but he's a man of many, many animation frames. One thousand, to be exact, making him the "most detailed third-person action character ever created".

Sometimes less is more, Ubisoft. On which note, here are seven things the developers cut from Assassin's Creed 3.

  1. Looks nice, still not sure about this though.Won't be getting it day one anyway, think Dishonoured will do for me better at stealth and being an Assassin.Plus still not even finished Revs. yet and don't know when i will to be fair, lol.

  2. Can't wait for AC III looks great!!! :D

  3. I will say Assassins Creed 3 is looking good but not sure it is a day one purchase for me. Not many games ever are as I think it is usually better to wait a couple of months for the inevitable price drop and of course the game patches to correct any problems encountered. That way you get a 'fixed' game for less money
