I agree need more O line, but with three already signed if Stone signs that will be a good class.

Rogers just signed with Vols!!! per Calhoun Times FB Page.

Great pick up for the Vols! I think the common thought was that we would rather have this young man than Ambles anyway. Welcome to Rocky Top Mr. Rogers. (Wonder if he owns a cardigan sweater?)

Stone signed???

It would appear so. I am liking this class more by the minute!

Where is Stone from? Alabama?

At least Copeland didn't run to the University of South Central.

If Wilcox comes from Boise- What these coaches did with 1 and 2 star recruits is great. and if you look at Utah and boise and there past recruiting classes utah i believe hasn't had a three star recruit in forever. Not sure on Boise

I'll feel a lot better when DT John Brown signs his LOI. I haven't heard much about him recently, but we REALLY need good DTs.

Anyone know the deal with Stanley? Rivals shows him with USC. We have him on the list, but not signed.

He signed with USC.

Looking good so far. Losing Copeland hurts, but it looks like we are slowly filling some areas of weakness/lack of depth. Any guesses on who might be converted to an area of need if possible? Will Jaques be converted to a LB? Just curious. Go Big Orange!

Has Juco dl Patrick Harris signed anywhere. He was considering Tennessee.

Any update on John Brown?

Anyone know if we've still got a shot at Chaz Green? The Gators may be in the lead.

coachscopp saying Wilcox will arrive in Knoxville Thursday. Hopefully Chuck Smith arrives too.

well stanley went to usc... hope he doesn't mind going to a school soon to be hit by ncaa sanctions. Tennessee has a good signing class

I'd feel better with a couple more LB's given how thin we were last year, but excellent class so far. As a Georgia boy, I'm excited about our recruiting success within Georgia.

GO VOLS!

Good job UT coaching staff and supporters. They are making lemonade out of the sour lemongate left by the self centered one. Coach Dooley,I love your work ethic, honesty, dedication, and persistence. You shall be a resounding success in BIG Orange Country!

Rivals has reported that John Brown has signed his LOI for Tennessee.
I had heard that Chaz Green was headed to SoCal instead of uf, but I haven't seen any confirmation. (I suppose I would vaguely prefer that he go to SoCal.)

Kudos to DD for a #8 class. He managed this with no time and very little staff. I hope he takes at least a week off and rests and re-connects with his family.
Realistically, if Kiffin et al. had stayed we might have had a top 3 class (even without Stone) but I am so much more encouraged about the long term prospects for UT now. Can you imagine where UT would be if we had hired DD a year ago instead of Kiffin? UT would already be like it's going to be in a couple of years. I certainly don't blame Hamilton. We were all excited about Kiffin's assistant coaches but it did get old defending Kiffin's actions to the rest of our SEC brethren.
Finally, I look forward to when DD retires in 15 years and turns the reins over to Manning...

Rumors have Green signing with whoever he picks at 3:30p.

I saw the Rubio deal the other day, and at that time it was said that he said no thanks. Nothing since and of course just rumors at this point. He apparently is a smart guy, so he'd be pretty dumb if he left UT for USC and it's issues. Just sayin....

Probably interviewing. Kibble took everything else but the toilet paper. Didn't Feldman say that it looked like Rubio turned him down though?

Beyond the obvious big name guys in this class; 2 kids I really like are Propst and Neal..Propst played at powerhouse Hoover and 160 tackles is certainly impressive..Ive watched a lot of film on Neal and what really stands out is his ability to read his blockers and commit to whatever crease or hole provided without even breaking stride..He seems to have the ability to square up and explode north and south better than half the backs currently playing SEC ball..After a year in our weight room the sky is the limit!!

Just an outstanding job Coach Dooley!! The mess and turmoil you stepped into coming to coach our Vols was daunting, and you put your head down and went to work! We real Vol fans will be eternally grateful for your hard work and determination! The incredible part is, you are just getting started :) Time to turn these young players into men and to blend them with the players we already have to be a SEC caliber football team!!

Thanks again for stepping up to the plate and putting wood on the ball!

Go Big Orange!!!!

Ok KNS lets see what you can find out on the possibilty of this Dalvin Glass kid out of Dallas Carter. He's a short OG but he's wide. But most importantly...if he signs with us, likes the UT experiance, and tells the guys back home we will have our foot in with one of North Texas' top HS programs.

This will be a big future recruiting pickup for CDD.
