Support Engineer -Mandarin (Malaysian/Singaporean dialect)

A Fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to start immediately within a Global IT Services firm. Must Speak Mandarin (Malaysian/Singaporean dialect) -> preferred candidates from Malaysia/Singapore background


The role as a IT Support Engineer will involve the support of help desk function encompassing 1st & 2nd level Desktop & infrastructure support and 1st level application support. You will have a strong customer service focus and people skills and be able to be a team player. Roles like this one don't often come along, excellent company with great remuneration package, you even get paid training.

Key responsibilities:-

Provide 1st level help desk support over the phone and remotely Identify, anaylse, support and solve technical problems presented to you, ensuring Customer Satisfaction Assists with installations, configuration of servers, and ongoing usability of desktop & laptop computers, peripheral equipment and software with established standards and guidelines Work with vendors to resolve technical problems with equipment and software Ensure desktops interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including file servers, email servers, application servers and administrative systems
Experience required:-

IT Qualification OS support and troubleshooting experience - XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Mac MS Active Directory and Exchange 2003 - 2010 Citrix Support Strong Networking troubleshooting and support experience Experience using a call logging system
