Now entering its 5th decade, we have pursued the vision of our founder, Sir Angus Tait to be the leading global company in the design, delivery and management of critical communications solutions for safe and resilient communities.
We make sure that the Victoria Fire Department has a wireless communication network that is robust enough to keep their fire-fighters informed and safe. We provide solutions for electrical utilities companies that help them keep the power on. We create systems that monitor the location and performance of public transport systems and our systems will keep London Buses operating effectively during the 2012 Olympics. In short, we develop communications solutions that are used at the sharp end around the world.
We are looking for a Chief Information Officer who is able to provide the corporate leadership, vision and direction for the IT organisation globally, ensuring support of the company’s business objectives and requirements.
The Global Chief Information Officer is responsible for the delivery of IT innovation to drive business changes and to enable the business to gain new opportunities by leading the development, implementation, and management of the company’s information technology (IT) capabilities. This individual must also ensure that technology is not implemented without a direct understanding of how it will impact and enhance customer experience. The Chief Information Officer makes decisions concerning strategic initiatives through a demonstrated ability to use broad-based business information and business process knowledge. The incumbent in this position must identify the company’s core technological and business strengths, leveraging advantages and capitalising on corporate knowledge.
We’re on a journey. It’s an exciting time to be a part of this talented team, fired up full of energy, prepared to punch above our weight to succeed.
