Does this monitor with integrated iOS dock offer you the twin screen experience you have been waiting for? In a word, no.
An £800 monitor has to be something really special, and unfortunately this Samsung display falls short.
IFA 2012 Although 16:9 seems to be the aspect ratio of choice for most monitor making companies, there's been something of a push for 21:9.
Any 24-inch monitor for under £150 was considered a bona fide barrel scraper not that long ago. But things change and this ViewSonic screen is pitched against some relatively stiff competition.
Apple has made IPS screen technology almost obligatory, so is there any point in the new BenQ monitor and its VA panel?
Samsung's new Series 7 HD TV-monitor has a hefty feature set. But what about the image quality?
The S27B750 is a 27-inch, 1080p display with a polished black bezel integrated into a glossy white stand. It's more B&O than Apple, and may or not be to your taste, but it's both stylish and understated.
Samsung's stylish 24-inch monitor can mirror your smartphone's display, but can it compete with IPS on image quality?
IPS screen technology is everywhere. The latest IPS PC monitor is the new Philips Brilliance Blade 2, a Full HD 23-inch screen.
Time to fire up the new Iiyama T2451MTS, a 24-inch, Full-HD touch-enabled widescreen monitor to find out if touch is the next big thing for the desktop.
This 27-inch Philips monitor features an AMVA panel. This usually means rich colours and contrast, but can produce problems, too.
The floodgates have opened for cheap IPS technology, and the screens keep on flowing. This new ViewSonic is one of the best.
When it comes to PC monitors, we hate novelty "gaming" monitors and TN panels. This monitor has both, but we love it.
The AOC i2352Vh is a Full HD 23-inch PC monitor. But here's the really dramatic thing: it's got an IPS panel. And it's just £130.
This monitor has a 21.5-inch screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, all for the very wallet-friendly price of £89. But is it too good to be true?
Recently, screens with IPS and VA panels have been coming thick and fast. Hallelujah! The latest member of this new monitor army is the Philips Brilliance 241P4QPYES.
Samsung combines the good bits of PVA and IPS to create this PLS monitor.
It's a TN panel, but what you don't expect at this price is a classy chassis and stand.
Affordable IPS panels are becoming more common, but this ViewSonic is still something special.
A huge 27-inch VA panel that's an awesome deal at this price. But we thirst for more pixels.
The BenQ RL2240H is a 22-inch TV screen with Full-HD for the gamer on a budget.
Extend you MacBook's display with this portable clip-on second monitor
Movies, games, PCs and TV. Can a single screen really display content for every count? That's the challenge for the Samsung T27A550 Series 5 LED HD TV monitor. It's a 27-inch beast with an integrated digital TV tuner and enough inputs to cope with everything from desktop PCs to games consoles and set-top boxes.
If only real life was in 3D, like on this PC monitor
We couldn't recommend this monitor as a frugal purchase, but if you did buy one we'd be jealous. Why? Because it's big, elegantly designed, slim, and boasts good picture quality. What the 3D lacks in effectiveness, it almost takes back in usability in comfort. Overall, it's a worthy addition to your desk.
