Yola Install Guide

StatCounter provides free customisable hit counters, visitor tracking, web analytics and website stats for Yola.

Yola

  1. Sign up for a free account at StatCounter to get your StatCounter code.

    The rest of these instructions are repeated when you get the StatCounter code sign up now!
  2. Copy the StatCounter code.
  3. Log into your Yola website (opens in a new window).
  4. Click "Open".

  5. Drag and drop a "HTML" widget on to your page.

  6. Paste your StatCounter code into the "HTML Editor" window and click "OK".

  7. Click "Save". (Your Statcounter will be visible on your page and you can move it to another location if you wish.)

  8. Repeat this procedure and add StatCounter to every page of your Yola site. (NOTE: quickly change the page you are editing using the drop down menu.)

  9. When you have added StatCounter to every page of your site, click "Publish to the web" and that's it!

Your StatCounter will now begin recording visitor information and, if you chose the visible option, your counter will be visible on your Yola site! (The image below shows a sample StatCounter.)
