vBulletin 3.8 Install Guide

StatCounter provides free customisable hit counters, visitor tracking, web analytics and website stats for vBulletin 3.8.

  1. Sign up for a free account at StatCounter to get your StatCounter code.

    The rest of these instructions are repeated when you get the StatCounter code sign up now!
  2. Copy the StatCounter code.
  3. Log into your vBulletin forum.
  4. Click "Admin".

  5. Click "Styles & Templates".

  6. Next click "Style Manager".

  7. From the drop-down menu click "Edit Templates".

  8. Click "footer" and then click "Customize".

  9. Paste your StatCounter code into the "Edit Box" beneath any code that is already in place. Click "Save" and that’s it!

Your StatCounter will now begin recording visitor information and, if you chose the visible option, your counter will be visible on your vBulletin forum.
