Frontpage 2000 Install Guide

StatCounter provides free customisable hit counters, visitor tracking, web analytics and website stats for Frontpage 2000.

  1. Sign up for a free account at StatCounter to get your StatCounter code.

    The rest of these instructions are repeated when you get the StatCounter code sign up now!
  2. copy the StatCounter code (highlight it with your mouse then type ctrl-c)
  3. view your page in design view (default view).
  4. insert the cursor where you want the counter to appear
  5. click insert -> advanced and select "html"
  6. insert the StatCounter code (click in window then type ctrl-v)
  7. click "ok"
  8. save and publish your page
Note: if you are using *shared borders* feature (a common footer on all pages), then adding code to it will automatically install StatCounter code on all webpages.
