Freewebs Install Guide

StatCounter provides free customisable hit counters, visitor tracking, web analytics and website stats for Freewebs.

  1. Sign up for a free account at StatCounter to get your StatCounter code.

    The rest of these instructions are repeated when you get the StatCounter code sign up now!
  2. copy the StatCounter code (highlight it with your mouse then type ctrl-c)
  3. log onto http://www.freewebs.com/ and enter your username and password
  4. click the "Edit This Site" button
  5. click the "Modify Template" in the top navigiation
  6. click the "header & footer" button
  7. click the "Site Footer" button
  8. paste copied code anywhere in the text area (ctrl v)
  9. click the "Save" button
