Rumours of Final Fantasy Versus XIII's premature demise have been greatly over-exaggerated, according to company boss Yoichi Wada. He saw the thing in action only yesterday, guys! Or so he claims.
"There's someone making a false rumour that Versus was cancelled," Wada Tweeted last night (via Eurogamer). "Haha... just a minute ago, the regular Versus meeting ended. If you saw the presentation of the city, it'd knock you off your feet - lol."
On Friday, one of Kotaku's sources claimed that the game had been quietly dropped, and that materials had been transferred to the unannounced but probably inevitable Final Fantasy XV project. At the time, Square Enix would only say that "we have no information on the status of Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but will be sure to update you as it becomes available."
So who's telling porkies?

Thing is why are OXM reporting on versus XIII when it's a PS3 exclusive, details of the game so far would suggest it's going to be way bigger than XIII so porting to Xbox would be difficult, plus it is being built from the bottom up for the PS3, and XIII was a pure example of it, as XIII was built for the PS3 and the 360 port was crap.

I think they are developing it for ps3 and I think will prob be a straight port to Xbox just less shiny.
