So honest question: has the Kindle Fire software upgrade made a perceivable difference in use for people?

@ @ As more apps went 64-bit, they just got faster. The user never knew. Some system prefs still run under 32, though.

@ @ Yes, Snow Leopard was 64 bit but defaulted to 32-bit. To the end user, there was no difference at all.
