So honest question: has the Kindle Fire software upgrade made a perceivable difference in use for people?

@techjunky79 @andrewwray As more apps went 64-bit, they just got faster. The user never knew. Some system prefs still run under 32, though.

@techjunky79 @andrewwray Yes, Snow Leopard was 64 bit but defaulted to 32-bit. To the end user, there was no difference at all.

@techjunky79 @andrewwray PS: as you read, he's not an inexperienced PC user, either. So this isn't a noob issue. Just one dude's experience.
