Skyrim Update 1.7 Enters Beta

A beta version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim title update 1.7 is available now through Steam. Details about the update for Xbox 360 and PlayStation are coming later. "Specific to PS3 players, features included in the 1.6 title update, including Mounted Combat, will be rolled into 1.7," Bethesda says.

Below are the patch notes:

Update 1.7 (all platforms unless specified)

BUG FIXES

General memory and stability optimizations

Fixed crash related to new water shaders

Fixed rare crash related to dragon landings

Fixed logic error with loading screens from add-ons (Xbox 360)

Using vampiric grip and swimming no longer prevents swimming animation from playing afterwards

Improved recognition with Kinect voice commands (Xbox 360)

Kinect-enabled dragon language shouts for French, German, Italian and Spanish work properly (Xbox 360)

Fixed issue with Dawnguard Kinect-enabled dragon shouts for French, German, Italian and Spanish (Xbox 360)

    My kinect thinks that when i say awsome it means pause game ? Hopefully this new update will fix it.

    No worries, I just got this game recently and have been playing it on my PS3 for about 170 hours. I've had no issues with it besides a couples of minor glitches and two or three freezes.

    so from what i read(could be wrong so what ever) update 1.6 sets up the Dawnguard DLC so the PS3 will not be getting it at lest until this up date is out so there is that... So when will none Xbox skyrim players get the DLC?

    Finally their fixing some of the kinect things those where pissing me off I just stuck with the controller (sorry for my spelling) for a while.

    It's lovely. Every time a new game comes out and I put aside Skyrim for awhile, each time I come back it's more stable!

    The improved recognition with the Kinect is a must. To many times have I found myself yelling at my tv to get it to work but never does.
