A Brief Tour of the Derwent Catchment

The Derwent Catchment is used as a real life case study in the teaching materials for the Core Module Water Quantity and Quality, as most of the issues raised in the Module are present in the Catchment. Along with the River Basin Hydroinformatic Diagram, the Derwent Description Model provides students with an overview of the processes, issues and infrastructure within the catchment. An abridged version of part of the model is available here.
