Amzer Hubble Bubble for Nokia Lumia 900

The Amzer Hubble Bubble case for your Nokia Lumia 900 is an interesting little case. The design of the Hubble Bubble is a skin case that wraps around your Lumia 900 that fits the Windows Phone rather nicely. Much like the Amzer Shellster ShellCase, the Hubble Bubble fits snugly with no loosey-goosey feel about it. The dimpled pattern on the back and firm fit does make it stand out from other shell cases.

Making the Hubble Bubble a decent choice to consider if your in the market for a simple shell case for your Nokia Lumia 900.

Amzer Shellster ShellCase for Nokia Lumia 900

Amzer Shellster ShellCase with Holster for the Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone

There's a new case for your Nokia Lumia 900 over at the Windows Phone Central Accessory Store. It's the Amzer Shellster ShellCase with holster. The Shellster is a two piece case for your Lumia 900 consisting of a hard shell case and belt clip holster.  The key feature on the holster is the rotating belt clip that can be propped open to serve as a case stand.

The challenge with any case for the Lumia 900 is that the Windows Phone works so well without a case.  The 900 fits nicely in the hand, is solidly built and just looks good naked.  The Shellster does a nice job complimenting the Lumia 900 by offering a belt carry option and a bit of added protection with the shell case.  Overall, the Amzer Shellster isn't a bad option to consider.

Finger Grinder for Windows Phone

Finger Grinder is a reflex game for your Windows Phone that if you're too slow your finger tips could be toast. Well...in a virtual sense of things.

Not sure when all these finger smashing games snuck into the Marketplace but Finger Grinder is a well animated, reflex challenging game from this genre. You have three devices to try to avoid with either one or two fingers.

From Finger Grinder's main menu you have options to play the game, view the local leaderboards, access the options (volume/vibration on or off) and the developer's about screen. Once you start the game you have to choose your poison.

Bomberman vs Zombies for Windows Phone

Zombies just can't catch a break on our Windows Phone. We're constantly hunting them down and ruining their day. Bomberman vs. Zombies is no different but instead of shooting the Zombies up, your blasting them to smithereens. Bomberman vs. Zombies has seen a fair amount of success on the Blackberry and Android platforms. Success the developers hope will carry over to Windows Phone.

Windows Phone Game Review: Brutal Chase

Brutal Chase for Windows Phone

Brutal Chase is a Windows Phone game that I found entertaining, in an odd sort of way. You play the role of the police chase car and it's your job to repeatedly crash into the bad guys car until they can run no more. No pit maneuvers, no peacefully pulling them over, just crash and crush them into submission.

Brutal Chase is well drawn out, has nice controls, and is an entertaining game for your Windows Phone.  If you like bashing up cars that is.

Windows Phone Game Review - Rapid Toss+

Rapid Toss+ for Windows Phone

While there's not much to the Windows Phone game Rapid Toss+, it's still a fun game to help pass the time with. Rapid Toss+ is a paper toss game where you're called upon to send your paper wads into the trash can. To make things challenging, you have to gauge your toss against the wind.

Rapid Toss+ is from the same development group that brought us Grow and does set itself apart from other paper toss games on the Marketplace with it's features.  Rapid Toss+ offers five throwing distances/levels (level 5 is real challenging), five environments (office, moon, gravity room, winter land, and autumn land) and seventeen different backgrounds.

Rapid Toss+

You also have two game modes with Rapid Toss+. A Classic Game where you simply try to sink as many consecutive baskets as possible. Then there is a Rapid Game where your racing against the clock to see how many baskets you can sink, as well as consecutive baskets, before the clock strikes zero.  Oh... and to add to the fun of the Rapid Game mode, your paper wads are on fire.

You toss your paper ball by flicking at the paper ball. Angle your flick to the left or right to compensate for the wind.  With the Rapid Game mode, your wind increases/decreases from one side, then switches to the opposite side of the screen.  The wind in the Classic Game changes after each toss both in speed and direction.

Overall, Rapid Toss+ is a fun, feature rich paper toss game that is fun to play. If your looking for a challenge, try the furthest distance.  When the wind speed is high, you really need to angle your toss to let the paper wad ride the wind into the basket.

There is a free trial version available for Rapid Toss+ and the full version will run you $.99. You can find Rapid Toss+ here at the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Otterbox Commuter for Nokia Lumia 900

Otterbox makes some very nice cases for our Windows Phone. Recently the company released their popular Commuter case for the Nokia Lumia 900 and we've taken it out for a test drive.  The Commuter is very similar to the Case-Mate Tough but beefier.  The rubber sleeve is exposed at the corners of the Windows Phone and protects nicely against falls.  The case also forms a frame that recesses the screen to protect it from scratches.

While the Commuter does provide a nice level of protection it does add noticeable bulk to the Lumia 900.  Bulk some may not find appealing.

Pac-Man Kart Rally Lead

The selection of Xbox Live racers on Windows Phone varies widely in quality. Hydro Thunder GO and Need for Speed Undercover occupy the top end of the quality spectrum, while Cro-Mag Rally sits in a pool of ick at the bottom. Sadly, Cro-Mag Rally was also the only mobile Live kart racer for almost a year. Fast-forward to May 2012 and Namco Bandai surprised us all with Pac-Man Kart Rally. While it never matches the lofty quality bar set by the Mario Kart series, Namco’s racer still manages to be pretty fun, easily surpassing its only other Windows Phone competitor.

Windows Phone Game Review - Pendulous

Pendulous for Windows Phone

Pendulous is a neat little game for your Windows Phone that has you swing gears from point to point until you reach the safety of a portal. The multi-level game scores your performance on how quickly you can navigate your gear to the exit portal.  Along the way twists, turns and electrical sparks will make the journey from Point A to Point B all the more challenging.

Nicely animated, challenging enough to keep things interesting Pendulous is a fun time waster and a nice addition for your Windows Phone gaming library.
