Microsoft has released a gallery of production shots for Halo miniseries Forward Unto Dawn, which details the beginning of the human-Covenant war and sets the stage for Halo 4. They are literally the cutest things you'll see all day. Who knew juvenile UNSC troopers would look so dinky? The training regime is supposed to be hell on Earth.
I showed these to Matt just now, whereupon he stood on his chair and proclaimed the Joyous News that Microsoft is trying to wrest the teen demographic from Twilight. Could be they're aiming even earlier than that, Matt. First one to spot a facial hair wins an amusing Halo GIF in the comments.

This feels very wrong, as a huge fan of Halo and one who has defended it strongly over its realistic counterparts I say this is the right way to surrender the moral high ground, what a crying shame. all it needs is some neo classical architecture, some Nordic symbolism and some vague Christian symbolism and its a masturbatory fetish piece for Team America types, oh hold on....
