Hi gang! Matthew here. Some of you may know me from Nintendo Gamer magazine. A *couple* of you might recognise me from late at night in your back gardens. Sorry about that. For those of you not in the know, I'm a recent addition to Team ONM, assisting Chandra in the day-to-day running of the mag by writing scary emails to lazy writers and keeping morale high with a never-ending stream of celebrity impersonations. Honestly, it's like sharing an office with Alan Rickman, Woody Allen and Grandpa Simpson rolled into one.
1 commentI'm a bit of a Monster Hunter fan but, to be honest, Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii was my first experience of the franchise. The wide open vistas, interesting ecology, clever RPG elements and a dose of Capcom charm got me hooked from my first outing with the monsters.
13 commentsEarlier this week, Spanish developer Virtual Toys confirmed that they are working on a multi-platform free to play Wii U game, the first of its kind to be announced for the upcoming Nintendo console. Iwata had previously confirmed that the Wii U would support free to play (or F2P) games, and this would be an option for developers to use when bringing their new downloadable titles to the Wii U's eShop.
