Google Begins Shipping Nexus 7 Pre-Orders Internationally

Google Nexus 7 Box

Google has begun shipping Nexus 7 pre-orders to customers who purchased the device from Google Play stores outside of the United States. The tablet is expected to take two days to arrive, which puts delivery dates in line with the July 19 estimates that most third-party retailers have been advertising.

Richard Devine over at Android Central confirmed that his Nexus 7 pre-order was dispatched early this morning, heading for the U.K. While a statement on the Google Play support page confirms orders are being sent to customers in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

We’re now shipping Nexus 7 preorders. All US and Australia preorders are scheduled to ship by July 17th. UK and Canada preorders have also begun shipping in waves.

Shipping for U.S. customers began on July 13, so if you’ve already been playing with yours for several days, feel free to boast about that in the comments while the rest of us impatiently wait for ours to arrive.
