Pending the appearance of some other hip indie odyssey, Xbox Live's Game of Note this week is probably Square Enix and Airtight's Quantum Conundrum, the work of Portal designer Kim Swift. I'm playing it right now - review tomorrow - and it's rather good. There's also a new/old Tony Hawk game; Dungeon Fighter Live, which appears to involve Fighting in Dungeons via (Xbox) Live; and an absolute truckload of Bethesda price cuts, spanning Oblivion and Fallout 3.
If you can work out what "Otomedius Excellent" is without Googling it, treat yourself to an imaginary trophy and complimentary sandwich of your preference. And do let us know what you're buying.

It's worth it, for £5 it's actually better than most retail shooters.

I was going to ask if any of the XBLA sale games are any good - it seems that some of you have already answered that question!
Hydrophobia for 200 ms points - although I did see a review that only gave it 3 out of 10...
Don't really know much about the others though...

I wish you would provide links to the games/add-ons in the description IF you have reviewed them!! It would certainly make it easier to find out about them and what review scores you gave and thought about the games!!

Is my mind playing tricks or did they releases 2 versions of Hydrophobia, one correcting a lot of the bad reviews the first version got? Which is on offer?
Clanger67 on 11 Jul '12 said:
Think it is the original,Hydrophobia pure is the updated one. They are both on here under reviews the first one got eight.
Edit: Sorry pure is under previews, but you can get to it from the review of the first one.

I know Hydrophobia got 8 here but it also got 3 from edge magazine. If it is was riddled with problems/issues so much so that the developers went back and tried to fix them (Hydrophobia Pure) why would you want to buy this? I don't know much about this myself but it seems that it may still not be worth 200 ms points for a broken game.

There isn't a separate listing for Hydrophobia Pure. It was a free update.
I downloaded the update when I started the game for the first time.

Cheers M, in that case it might be worth buying for 200 points.
