Children. A tedious biological inevitability at best, a blight upon our mental and emotional lives at worst. Only yesterday, a child (not mine) punched me in the ear while I was minding my own business, riding a water slide in Suffolk. What hideous evils will these creatures inflict upon us next? And why do all the extra-annoying, most dangerous varieties appear in videogames?
The latest OXM Countdown is now at large on the interwebs, having appeared last week on the Xbox 360 dashboard. Within, OXM staffers discuss the menace that is virtual infancy. Do you have any heart-warming anecdotes to share?

Agree entirely with the skyrim ones too, but i tihnk Jonty wins with the little sisters, freaked me right out, especially as they had a hulking bodyguard wherever they went! I surprisingly saved them all too which obviously just shows you the kind of nasty guy Jonty is! Suppose you don't become Mr OXM Editor by being nice!

Agree with the twins in Deadly Premonition. I too spent that entire game thinking they were about to do something horrific only for them to remain as just creepy little kids.
