Dan Sasaki, Rob Baker, Randy Reck and Haluki Sadahiro Fill New Roles
May 7, 2012—Woodland Hills, Calif. — With the hiring of Rob Baker, Randy Reck, Haluki Sadahiro in key roles and the promotion of Dan Sasaki, Panavision is gearing up for the rollout of new products. Sasaki, who has been with Panavision for over 20 years, and has a unique position within the company as a designer of innovative lenses, was promoted to VP, Optical Engineering and Lens Strategy. Rob Baker, who joins Panavision from AltaSens, will assume the role of VP, Engineering, while Randy Reck, previously EFILM’s Chief CinemaScan Engineer, will take on the role of Director, Product Management, Digital Workflow Systems. Sadahiro, who came on board a few months ago, is currently Director, Product Management, Camera Systems, and also hails from AltaSens.
