Contains music to the Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II games for the regular Nintendo (Famicom).

First pressing: The style and the content of the liner notes are the same as the SS version, aside from the different catalog number printed on them. The front cover has the catalog number, H25X-20015, in the upper-right corner below the Datam symbol. The obi is white. Also includes some kind of survey card that seems to be asking, among many other things, about a Final Fantasy concert. I can't read the card, so I can't give details. If anyone wants to take a stab at translating it, here are scans of the back and the front.

Second pressing: The style and the content of the liner notes are the same as the SS version, aside from the different catalog number printed on them. The front cover has the catalog number, PSCR-5185, in the upper-right corner below the Datam symbol. The obi is white.

Squaresoft version: The cover with the Amano artwork is simply a folded piece, and the actual liner notes are folded up like a mini poster. The front cover has the words "Illustration: Y. Amano" in the bottom-right corner; this credit is also found on the EA version, but is not on the 1st or 2nd SS pressings or the SM version. Liner notes have: track list in Japanese (kana); a "map of the world" as presented by Square; piano scores to the FF1 opening and FF2 main theme; Amano art of FF2 monsters and other characters; and a message from Nobuo Uematsu. The obi is yellow and some of the text has been changed from the previous printings.

SonMay version: Would you believe, there are no liner notes; just a flimsy folded cover with the picture on the front. Actually, I got my copy used, so there may be things missing from it.

EverAnime version: The CD has the cover picture printed on it. Otherwise, the style and content of the liner notes are the same as the SS version. Includes a customer survey card.

Interesting note: "Welcome" is mispelled as "Welcom" on the CDs of all of the Squaresoft pressings and on the SM CD.
