I just graduated from college and for a graduation present, a friend that’s a girl said we can go out and hook up for fun as a present. So we went out and then met up with a bunch of friends. I don’t know how it happened, but it ended up that after a whole lot of drinks, me and my (girl)friend ended up in bed with another dude! Nothing happened between me and her guy friend, it was all directed toward her, but it freaks me out thinking about it. Whose graduation present was it? Hers? Ha. You ask what’s wrong with you? It’s pretty simple. You’re homophobic. You’re uncomfortable with the idea of being associated with another male in a sexual context. Sometimes I think the term "homophobia" needs a bit more clarity. Homophobia implies that homosexuality in general makes one uncomfortable or anxious, but it may be more accurate to call it selective homophobia. I’ll bet you wouldn’t be having sleepless nights if you ended up with two women in bed. Most homophobic men seem to feel OK about two women being sexually involved.
