Peggy Miller Franck is the author of Prides Crossing: The Unbridled Life and Impatient Times of Eleonora Sears, which The Washington Post's Ben Bradlee has called "A wonderful romp with an extraordinary character!" Ms. Franck is the daughter of Eleonora Sears' former business advisor and racing-stable manager.

A graduate of the University of Pennsyvlania with a degree in English literature, Ms. Franck later attended the New York School of Interior Design and developed an interior design business that is in its fourth decade. She also works with special-needs children and adults in the therapeutic riding program at the Thorncroft Equestrian Center in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
