It was a turbulent year for Miami Heat owner and Carnival Cruises CEO Micky Arison. When the Costa Concordia, a ship owned by Carnival Cruises, sunk off the coast of Italy, shares in the company plunged and Arison was criticized for failing to step forward and make public statements about the disaster.
