Since taking the reins from former Google CEO Eric Schmidt last year, Larry Page has had his share of highs and lows. His net worth took a $1.1 billion dip along with Google's stock price, which dropped 3% year on year. In February, the search engine's social networking tool Google + announced it had attracted 90 million users since its June 2011 launch. However, Page has weathered complaints from privacy advocates about the site's new policy, taking effect this March. Users' data from across all of Google's services will now be combined into a single profile. When he's not running the show at Google, Page's personal passions include buying up chunks of residential Palo Alto for a network of houses that use new types of fuel cells, geothermal energy, and rainwater capture.
