Amazon kingpin Jeff Bezos is $300 million richer year on year thanks to a slight uptick in Amazon's stock. His online retailer is the largest on the planet, and his Kindle revolutionized the publishing industry. As of 2011, he sells more e-books than the paper variety. Bezos unveiled his "iPad killer," the Kindle Fire tablet, last fall. His Amazon Prime subscription service aims to entice Netflix users.
