Apple Inc. introduced the iPhone to the public in 2007, and since then it has become the giant of smartphones. The newest model, the iPhone 4S, debuted in late 2011 and is the fifth generation of the iPhone family.
The iPhone features a built-in camera and video options, as well as a web browsing capabilities and a mobile version of iTunes, which allows users to import and listen to mp3s. All of the options are featured on a multi-touch screen. Over 500,000 third part and Apple application software are currently available on the phone’s App Store, which launched in 2008.
