Inventive New Zealand singer-songwriter Kimbra stopped by the Rolling Stone studio to play a few funky cuts off her experimental pop debut LP Vows. After impressing with her intense live looping technique, she talked about what inspired her to write "Settle Down" at age 16, her reason for signing with a major label, meeting Gotye and how she provided much-needed female perspective on his sleeper hit "Somebody That I Used To Know."
