    Pete Cashmore is the founder and CEO of Mashable, an award-winning site and one of the largest and most popular destinations for digital, social media, and technology news and information with more than 70 million pageviews per month. Mashable has been named a must-read site by both Fast Company and PC Magazine and is ranked as the most influential media outlet by Klout.

    Pete founded Mashable in 2005 as a blog focused on up-to-the-minute news on social networks and digital trends. Since then, Mashable quickly grew to be one of the top 10 and most profitable blogs in the world.

    Pete was named one of Ad Age’s 2011 influencers, a Time Magazine 100 in 2010, and a Forbes magazine web celeb 25. He was also named a Briton of the year by the Telegraph in 2010.

    Pete is based in San Francisco and divides his time between California and New York.

  • Sharon Feder is Chief Operating Officer of Mashable. She oversees the company’s business operations including sales, marketing, community and human resources.

    Most recently, Sharon was publisher, during which the company experienced its fastest growth to date and built its own ad sales operations. She’s held the positions of managing editor and features editor at Mashable. She joined the company in June 2008 as editorial assistant. Since then she has significantly grown Mashable’s editorial team, extended partnerships with leading news publishers and created a human resources and recruiting function.

    Before joining Mashable, Sharon held positions in advertising and public relations. She started her career in media as an editorial assistant intern at Pearson Education.

    She co-founded and subsequently sold MySocialDog, a hyper-local social network for dog owners.

  • Adam Ostrow Senior Vice President of Content and Executive Editor

    Adam Ostrow is a new media entrepreneur and commentator. As Mashable’s senior vice president of content and executive editor, Adam is responsible for the editorial strategy of one of the most-read independent news sites in the world, covering the latest technologies, trends and individuals that are driving the current evolution of the web. Adam joined Mashable in 2007 as editor in chief.

    Since joining Mashable in 2007, Adam has contributed more than 2,500 articles, and under his leadership, the site’s audience has grown more than tenfold to 15 million unique visitors per month with more than 4 million followers across social media sites.

    Adam has been frequently quoted by numerous mainstream media outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, USA Today and The Times of London, among many others. He is a frequent guest on CNN, Bloomberg and NPR.

    Adam is also a highly sought after speaker and has made presentations at TED Global, CES, SXSW Interactive and Harvard Business School, among other conferences, corporate events and universities.

    Adam is a graduate of the University of Maryland at which he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and was awarded Most Outstanding Senior in the school’s prestigious Hinman CEOs program.

    Lance Ulanoff is a 25-year industry veteran and award-winning journalist. As editor in chief of Mashable, he is responsible for editorial direction and strategy. Before joining Mashable, Ulanoff was editor in chief of PCMag.com and senior vice president of content for Ziff Davis, where he oversaw content strategy for all Ziff Davis websites.

    Lance has covered technology since PCs were the size of suitcases, “on line” meant “waiting” and CPU speeds were measured in single-digit megahertz. He’s traveled the globe to report on a vast array of consumer and business technology. His long-running column on PCMag.com has earned him a Bronze award from the American Society of Business Publication Editors. Winmag.com, HomePC.com and PCMag.com have all been honored under Lance’s guidance.

    Lance makes frequent appearances on national, international and local news programs including Fox News, Today Show, Good Morning America, CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg TV, NY1, CNN HLN, BBC, New York’s Eyewitness News, News Channel 4 and WCBS, among many others.

  • Chris Taylor Deputy Editor

    Chris, a veteran journalist with more than 15 years of experience, heads up Mashable’s editorial team. He oversees the development of reporters, while working closely with Mashable’s editor-in-chief to select, develop and coordinate news coverage across the site.

    Hailing from the U.K., Chris got his start working on a variety of national newspapers in London and Glasgow. He moved to the U.S. in 1996, and became senior news writer for Time.com a year later. In 2000, he was named San Francisco bureau chief for Time magazine. In the past five years, he has served as senior editor for Business 2.0, West Coast editor for Fortune Small Business and West Coast web editor for Fast Company.

    Chris is a graduate of Merton College, Oxford and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He is also a long-time volunteer at 826 Valencia, the nationwide after-school program co-founded by author Dave Eggers.

  • Charlie White

    Charlie WhiteSenior Editor

    Charlie White is senior editor for Mashable, where he is responsible for gadget news and reviews and oversees the site’s weekend coverage. Charlie joined Mashable in December 2010 and is based in the Midwest.

    Before joining Mashable, he was deputy editor of NBC Universal’s DVICE, senior associate editor for gadget site Gizmodo and executive producer of Digital Media Net. Since 1994, he’s written more than 7,000 articles for websites and magazines such as Wired, Maximum PC and Popular Science.

    In a previous life Charlie spent 30 years as an Emmy award-winning television producer/director, directing five national TV series for public television. His personal interests include writing books, watching good movies, hanging out with the book club at burger joints, and puzzling over inexplicable peculiarities.

    Charlie is a graduate of the University of Miami.

  • Todd Wasserman Business and Marketing Editor

    Todd is the business and marketing editor for Mashable, where he oversees the site’s business, marketing and media coverage and staff. Todd joined Mashable in December 2010 and is based in New York.

    Before joining Mashable, Todd was the editor in chief of Brandweek and held various positions at the publication. Previously, he wrote for Computer Retail Week and various daily newspapers including the Herald & News in Passaic, N.J., and the Register-Citiizen in Torrington, Conn.

    His work has also appeared in The New York Times, Business 2.0, The Hollywood Reporter and Inc., among other publications. His personal interests include racquetball and Scrabble.

    Todd is a graduate of the University of Albany.

  • Josh Catone Editorial Director

    Josh joined Mashable in May 2009, and as editorial director he is responsible for coordinating and implementing editorial opportunities across the company, including partnership, tools and multimedia. Prior to Mashable, Josh was the lead writer at ReadWriteWeb, the lead blogger at SitePoint, and the community evangelist at DandyID. He’s written about technology since 1998 for magazines, newspapers and web sites, and he is the co-founder of Rails Forum. He’s also co-founder of The Fluffington Post. He attended the University of Rhode Island and Ithaca College.

  • Christina Warren Entertainment Editor

    Christina Warren is a writer, speaker, podcaster and video host. Christina is Mashable’s entertainment editor, where she oversees the site’s coverage of television, film, music and social games and the intersection between new media and technology.

    She has been featured on CNN, NPR, WSJRadio, the BBC, Fox News and Marketplace Radio. As a speaker, Christina has presented at Yale University, the Handheld Librarian Conference, SXSW Interactive and other events and conferences across the country.

    Before joining Mashable in 2009, Christina was the deputy editor at Download Squad and The Unofficial Apple Weblog. She has also written for USA Today and for AOL’s StyleList Blog. From 2009 – 2010, she was also an associate editor at AMC Entertainment’s Script-to-Screen blog. You can hear her dulcet tones on an assortment of podcasts at 5by5.tv.

    Christina lives in Brooklyn with her fiancé and their computer collection.

  • Stan Schroeder European Editor

    Stan has been writing for Mashable since 2007, and having the benefit (or the curse) of working in a European time zone, he’s taken the post of European Editor. He’s been a pro IT journalist in Croatia for more than six years, having written, among numerous other publications, for the biggest local IT paper magazine, Bug, as well as one of the biggest local web portals, tportal.hr. Interested in writing in English, he started his (now existing only as archive) blog, FranticIndustries, and he also co-founded (and subsequently sold) whoishostingthis.com, a simple tool for determining the hosting provider of any website. He’s an undergraduate of the Philosophic Faculty of Zagreb, working toward a B.A. in English language and literature as well as information science. He lives in Zagreb, Croatia, and spends his free time pursuing one of his many interests, which include CrossFit, collecting band t-shirts, tinkering with gadgets and hardware and generally leading a frantic lifestyle.

    Matt Silverman joined Mashable in November 2009 and oversees the planning and publishing of all features content. He works on editorial strategy, special projects and writes regularly on social media trends, web culture, gaming and design. He also authors the occasionally funny Mashable Comic.

    He holds a bachelor of arts in writing from Hofstra University and has worked previously as a paralegal with a prestigious New York law firm. Matt is also a humorist, musician, video producer and Twitter enthusiast who labors to make the Internet cuter via The Fluffington Post.

  • Lauren Indvik Marketing & Media Associate Editor

    Lauren Indvik is the associate editor for marketing and media for Mashable, where she covers digital marketing news, the fashion industry and the evolving media landscape from Mashable’s New York headquarters. Lauren joined Mashable in March 2010 as an assistant editor.

    In addition to Mashable, Lauren’s work has appeared in InStyle, Project, Forbes.com, Fashion Etc and Fashion Theory, a peer-reviewed academic journal. She has been quoted by The New York Times, the AP, The Economist’s Intelligent Life, USA Today, MTV and WWD, and been a guest on the TODAY show and CNN.com.

    Before joining Mashable, Lauren led social media strategy and operations at financial news site TheStreet. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College where she received her B.A. in English with honors. You can find her on Twitter here.

  • Amy-Mae Elliott Features Writer

    Before joining Mashable as a staff writer, Amy-Mae Elliott covered all things gadget, tech and online news for Pocket-lint.com. Previous to that she worked in magazine publishing for lad’s gadget mag Boys Toys and the more sedate secretarial title The PA. Amy-Mae studied photography at The Arts University College at Bournemouth, where she gained her love of the sea-side, now residing near the beach in Devon.

  • Emily Banks Associate Managing Editor

    Emily is responsible for assigning, editing and sharing stories, as well as organizing editorial schedules and overseeing Mashable‘s editorial ethics guidelines and style guide. She is also responsible for coordinating with partners on video and syndicated content. Previously, Emily was assistant news editor. She joined Mashable‘s New York team in October 2010 as copy editor.

    Emily has worked in newspaper, television and corporate communications. She has reported for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, community newspapers in Wisconsin and Georgia, and Georgia Public Broadcasting TV. She also worked for a small communications firm in Minneapolis with Fortune 500 clients. While in college she was the co-publisher and editor in chief of The Minnesota Daily, one of the largest student-run daily newspapers in the country.

  • Lauren Drell Campaigns Editor

    Lauren coordinates, writes and edits supported feature content. Lauren joined Mashable in February 2011 as an assistant editor and is based in New York. Before joining Mashable, Lauren worked as a multimedia reporter at AOL Small Business, where she focused on entrepreneurs and startups and launched several video series. Lauren earned a bachelor of arts in history from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008, and she graduated with an M.S.J. from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 2010. Her personal interests include caring for @FranklinPup (Mashable‘s chief morale officer), savoring red velvet cupcakes and curating her typo blog, Spelchekt.

  • Brian Anthony Hernandez Pop Culture & Internet Memes Reporter

    Brian Anthony Hernandez is Mashable’s reporter for pop culture and Internet memes. Brian joined Mashable in February 2011 as a copy editor and is based in New York.

    Before joining Mashable, Brian served as a business reporter at TechMediaNetwork, where wrote news about small businesses, social media, technology, consumer trends and workplace behaviors. His work in 2010 earned him the B2B Twitterer of the Year award in business journalism.

    Brian attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s journalism school. His personal interests include Hot Cheetos, optimists, fried chicken, dance clubs and smiles.

  • Peter Pachal Tech Channel Editor

    Peter Pachal is a technology journalist who’s been covering consumer technology in print and online for more than a decade.

    Originally from Edmonton, Canada, Peter first uploaded himself into technology journalism at Sound & Vision magazine in 1999. Each month he kept readers informed of beautiful home theater gear they could probably never afford, later running the book’s news department as Associate Managing Editor.

    Peter left S&V in 2005 to become Technology Editor at Syfy (then the Sci Fi Channel). After creating the channel’s technology site out of some rusty HTML code and a decompiled coat hanger, he guided its transition into the full-on blogsplosion called DVICE. He then moved on to PCMag, where he served as the site’s News Director before getting scooped up by Mashable.

    Peter holds degrees in journalism and engineering. His favorite Doctor Who monsters are the Cybermen.

  • Samantha Murphy Tech Reporter

    Samantha Murphy is a Tech Reporter for Mashable, where she covers all things tech. She joined the Mashable team in 2011 and is based in New York.

    Before joining Mashable, Samantha covered the tech industry as a senior writer for TechNewsDaily and wrote stories for sister publications LiveScience.com and Laptop Magazine. Her stories have been syndicated to various sites including Yahoo! News, MSNBC, Fox News, CBS News and The Christian Science Monitor, and she’s been featured on various radio shows. She also spent five years at a retail trade magazine writing about social media and technology, worked at ABC News in the Brian Ross investigative unit and got her start in journalism at CourtTV.com, where she reported on high-profile courtroom trials. She’s a graduate of New York University with a degree in journalism.

    Samantha has taught English in Thailand, climbed Mt. Fuji in Japan and has a thing for pizza.

    Zoe Fox is a reporter in Mashable’s New York headquarters, where she reports for the news team. She initially joined Mashable in June 2011 as an intern for the Social Good channel-turned-sub-channel.

    She recently graduated from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism with a double major in journalism and Asian and Middle Eastern studies. Before coming to Mashable, she worked for TIME.com, Moment Magazine and The Jerusalem Post.

    She doesn’t own a computer, partially as a social experiment and partially to be ironic.

    Kate Freeman joined Mashable in 2011 as a tech reporter based in the San Francisco office.

    Kate is an award-winning multimedia journalist; in 2011 she took home a trophy from the California Newspaper Publishers Association for her writing, and was selected for the prestigious Society of Professional Journalist early-career workshop at the Poynter Institute.

    Before joining Mashable, Kate was a contributing writer for CBS San Francisco and Divine Caroline. She was also the lifestyle editor of the Elk Grove Citizen for two years. She graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in journalism.

  • Sam Laird Reporter

    Sam Laird reports and writes about sports, the Internet, tech, social media, and other topics from Mashable’s San Francisco bureau.

    Before joining Mashable in November 2011, his freelance work appeared in publications including the New York Times, New York Times Magazine, Slam, and East Bay Express. Sam is a graduate of UC Berkeley and UC Santa Cruz, and basketball and burritos take up most of his spare time.

    Stephanie Buck is a features writer for Mashable. Prior to her hire, she worked as features intern while she completed an M.A. in magazine journalism from NYU.     Christine Erickson is a features writer at Mashable’s New York headquarters, where she writes strategic content and assists with regular editing. She joined Mashable in 2011 as an editorial intern.

    Christine received a B.A. in English, specializing in Media Studies, from Virginia Commonwealth University. Before moving to New York, she was editor-in-chief of the student magazine, wrote for local blogs in Richmond and helped small businesses manage social media.

    Christine is a Brooklynite, foodie, traveler and social media-enthusiast.

  • Chelsea Stark Multimedia Producer

    Chelsea is the multimedia producer for Mashable as of January 2012. She came to New York to pursue her master’s degree in journalism at NYU’s Studio 20 program, which focused on innovation as journalism is changed by new technology.

    Before coming to New York, Chelsea lived in Austin, where she did web journalism and social media for the local CBS affiliate. She loves good beer, classic video games, and all things geeky, and spends her time attempting to find anything close to good Tex-Mex in Brooklyn.

  • Alex Fitzpatrick Reporter

    Alex Fitzpatrick is a reporter at Mashable’s New York headquarters, where he covers the intersection of politics, international affairs, social media and technology. He initially joined Mashable as a Community intern in October of 2011, and he still holds Community near and dear to his heart.

    A Long Island native, Alex graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a B.A. in International Relations with honors. While at Geneseo, he served as Station Manager for WGSU 89.3 and Assistant Opinions Editor at The Lamron. He previously interned at the Communications Bureau of the City of Rochester, NY.

    Outside of work, Alex enjoys traveling, taking pictures of things and yelling at the TV when hockey’s on.

  • Adam Hirsch is an advisor to Mashable and chief digital officer for DoSomething.org.

    From 2008 to Jan. 2012, he was Mashable’s chief operating officer where was critical in developing Mashable from a small blog into a media company. He oversaw Mashable‘s business development, including marketing, partnerships, advertising and events. Some of his key initiatives included the Social Good Summit, the Open Web Awards (now known as the Mashable Awards) and the Summer of Social Good. He joined Mashable in 2007 as community and marketing manager.

    Adam is a New York City native and a graduate of Cornell University.

  • Frederick Townes Senior Technical Advisor

    Frederick Townes is the Senior Technical Advisor to Mashable and founder of W3 EDGE a new media oriented software development company.From 2007 to January 2012, he served as the Chief Technical Officer, building / maintaining of the network of sites / products and scaling Mashable‘s infrastructure.

    His passions and experiences are diverse, ranging from founding startups, user interface design and development, blogging and Internet marketing.

    Frederick currently splits time between Florence, Italy and Boston, Massachusetts and is a graduate of Boston University, where he focused on computer science and mathematics.

  • Robyn Peterson CTO

    Robyn Peterson is chief technology officer of Mashable. He oversees product strategy and the technical direction of Mashable. Robyn joined Mashable in May 2011 as senior vice president of product.

    Before joining Mashable, Robyn was head of product at Next Issue Media. His previous roles include vice president of technology and product at NBC Universal, senior vice president of product management and CTO at Ziff Davis Media, and director of operations at Juno. He’s been instrumental in launching some of the most interesting media products of the past 10 years.

    Robyn received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and his master’s degree in computer science from New York University.

    Robyn is an advisory board member for Parse.ly Inc.

    He successfully scaled Mount Kilimanjaro, despite almost falling off, twice.

  • Chris Phillips Vice President of Design

    Chris Phillips is the VP of Design for Mashable, where he oversees the design strategy and execution for all Mashable-related properties and events. He joined Mashable in March 2012 and is based in New York City.

    Before Mashable, Chris was the Creative Director of Ziff Davis, overseeing the design, UI, and branding of the company and its websites, including PCMag, ExtremeTech, and the Ziff Davis corporate site. His redesigns helped influence a modern trend in clean, minimal web design.

    He received his BFA in Film from NYU, which helped feed his passion for classic movies. Chris is also a musician, singing and playing keys with his band at various venues in the city.

  • Ken Detlet Vice President of Sales and Marketing

    Ken Detlet, a veteran of digital and print sales, joined Mashable as the senior vice president of sales and marketing in January 2011. Ken oversees advertising sales, marketing and operations, and he is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive increased revenue for Mashable.

    Before joining Mashable, Ken was formerly VP of sales at Ziff Davis, Inc and was in charge of sales and operations for the company’s web properties — most notable of which was PCMag.com. Ken also worked on executing the company’s strategy to transform the print publishing company into a fully digital organization.

    Before his role at Ziff Davis, Ken worked at Gannett Digital as VP of national sales and also in the online division of Dow Jones — sites included TheWallStreetJournalOnline, Barron’sOnline and MarketWatch — where he held a variety of sales and sales operations roles.
    Ken earned a Bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Peter’s College.

  • Stacy Green Vice President of Marketing and Communications

    Stacy Green is vice president marketing and communications. She oversees marketing, strategic communications, internal communications and events. Stacy joined Mashable in December 2010 as communications director.

    Before joining Mashable, she held several positions in communications and marketing at The New York Times. She was responsible for digital communications for NYTimes.com, and served as a spokeswoman for the website. 



    She is on the board of directors for New York Women in Communications, where she serves as the vice president for digital media and integrated marketing. She is a graduate of Towson University and hails from the great state of Maryland.

  • Brian Dresher Vice President of Business Development

    Brian Dresher is based out of the D.C. area. In this role, Brian identifies and manages traffic-driving, revenue-generating, and brand-building partnerships and opportunities. Brian brings with him several years experience in the media industry, most recently at USATODAY.com, where he managed social media strategy and formed partnerships with major brands such as Yahoo, Forbes, and Nasdaq; and niche brands such as Fark, Gowalla, and even Mashable! Brian has spoken at several events on social media, content distribution, and partnerships including SXSW, Social Fresh, TWTRCON, and 140conf, and was a regular contributor to USA TODAY’s “The Social Blog.”

    Brian is a graduate of The George Washington University where he earned his MBA and was named Graduate Marketing Student of the Year, and a graduate of UC San Diego where he earned his B.A. in economics.

  • Jay Bischof Regional Sales Director

    As regional sales director, Jay manages accounts in New York and Boston. He joined Mashable in April 2011 and is based out of New York.

    Before joining Mashable, Jay served as sales director at Snooth. He also spent five years in advertising at the Wall Street Journal Digital. He has held the roles of operations coordinator, sales planner and account executive.

    Jay is a graduate of Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and also spent a semester studying in Galway, Ireland.

  • Andrew Reedman US Director of Sales

    Andrew Reedman joins the Mashable team as US Director of Advertising. Andrew is tasked with building and developing Mashable’s advertising and marketing strategy, product suite and operations. Andrew will be working to enhance current and future brand relationships for all of Mashable’s advertising partners. Andrew most recently worked for Digg.com where he built the East Coast territory and was Digg’s largest revenue producer in 2010. Andrew is a Jersey native and currently resides in in the north side of Hoboken.

  • Tanya Salah West Coast Sales Director

    Tanya Salah is responsible for advertising sales in the western region of the U.S. She is based in San Francisco. Before joining Mashable, Tanya was the Bay Area regional sales manager at Geeknet, publisher of Slashdot and Sourceforge.

    Tanya’s previous roles include, national ad director at FixYa, western regional sales manager at Upside Media and various ad sales roles at Ziff Davis and Line56 Media.Tanya received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Francisco.

    When not working Tanya can be found surfing the freezing coast of Santa Cruz.

  • Tamar Weinberg Community & Global Advertising

    Tamar Weinberg joined Mashable in late 2007. As Mashable‘s Community Support and Advertising Manager, she is responsible for ad sales, community satisfaction, and other behind-the-scenes projects. Tamar is a social media aficionado who has worked with a variety of companies on social media strategy and search engine marketing. Tamar also writes on social media marketing-oriented topics at her personal blog located at techipedia.com and is the author of the premier social media marketing book, The New Community Rules.

  • Brie Manakul Ad Ops Director

    Brie Manakul is the Ad Ops Director for Mashable where she sets up the online advertising systems for the company, as well as creates the processes for the group and provide the right balance of interactive best practices and technological innovation for the company’s clients. Brie joined Mashable in February 2011 and is based in New York.

    Before joining Mashable, Brie served as the Manager of Campaign Operations for the Kids &
Family division of MTV Networks where she was responsible for implementing interactive online advertising campaigns across a network of well-established sites.

    Brie earned a B.S. in management information systems and marketing from St. Louis University and a MBA and Masters in Marketing. She is completing her Masters in Media Production at The New School. Her personal interests include running, traveling and producing.

  • Adam Berberich Regional Sales Director

    Adam joined Mashable in early 2012 as regional sales director, where he is tasked with helping grow ad revenue, manage key partnerships, and build out new business on the east coast. He is based out of Mashable’s New York City headquarters.

    Prior to joining the team, Adam excelled in various sales roles with CNET, CBS Interactive, and Digital Trends, where he managed major accounts and marketing partnerships.

    He is a graduate of Champlain College where he studied Multimedia and Graphic Design. Adam’s personal interests include art, technology, craft beer and pugs. He currently resides in Hoboken with his wife Jenny and their new son Jackson.

  • Meghan Peters Community Manager

    As Mashable‘s community manager, Meghan oversees social media strategy and reader engagement projects. Prior to joining Mashable in 2010, she worked as a web producer at The Seattle Times and managing editor of Microsoft’s JobsBlog. Meghan has a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Washington and has written for The Huffington Post, China Daily, The Seattle Times and Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

  • Stephanie Haberman Community Assistant

    Stephanie Haberman works on the community team with Meghan Peters, Mashable’s community manager. Stephanie joined Mashable in June 2011 and is based in New York. Before joining Mashable, Stephanie spent 10 months with the communications team at Sports Illustrated, where she was an integral part of the publication’s social media and public relations initiatives. She also previously served as a multimedia intern at Newsday and as photo editor of the Indiana Daily Student. Stephanie is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. Stephanie sings more than she speaks, loves how the world looks through a camera lens, is an avid sports fanatic and is unnaturally good at winning stuffed animals from crane-machine games.

  • Todd Olmstead Community Assistant

    Todd is a community assistant at Mashable. He joined the company as a community intern in February 2011. He holds a master’s degree from New York University, where he studied digital journalism in Studio 20.

    Before moving to New York, he was a producer for the annual Mission Creek Festival in Iowa City, where he also covered the music scene. He has a B.A. in English from Colby College. You can find his music blog at Mission Critical.

  • Rachel Schwartz Events Director

    Rachel is responsible for event operations and production. Rachel joined Mashable in January 2011 as events manager and is based in New York. Before joining Mashable, Rachel worked as a corporate event planner, managing events across industries, including ecommerce, luxury goods, finance and biopharmaceuticals. She additionally has a communications background, having also served as a public relations account executive in Argentina and New York for B2B technology clients. Rachel is a graduate of Eugene Lang College, The New School with a bachelor of arts in creative writing. Her personal interests include traveling and writing and taking advantage of the New York City culinary scene.

  • Jennifer Diamond Events Marketing Manager

    Jennifer is responsible for the marketing and promotion of events and works closely on event-related content. Jennifer joined Mashable in April 2011 and is based in New York. Before joining Mashable, Jennifer served as the event producer at B&H Photo. She has experience in project management and event production. She enjoys taking urban exploration trips with her camera. She photographs various happenings throughout NYC, as well as around the world. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, and University of Sydney in Australia.

  • Stefanie Rennert Human Resources Manager

    Stefanie Rennert manages organizational strategy and policies, recruitment, talent development, training and company benefits. Stefanie joined Mashable in May 2010 as business coordinator and is based in New York. Before joining Mashable, Stefanie held positions in media, events and marketing, most recently at MTV Networks/Nickelodeon, where she worked on the creative strategy team responsible for Nickelodeon’s 2009 rebranding campaign. Stefanie also worked as a freelance producer for author/consultant/coach Liz Lynch’s SmartNetworkingRadio.com. Stefanie is a graduate of Cornell University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in human development. She also earned a certificate of Italian language from the Accademia Italiana in Florence, Italy. As an active member of the NYC Cornellians Young Alumni group, she is the digital and social media chair on the executive board. Stefanie is a fan of connecting with people, creative brainstorming, problem solving and making things happen.
