We continue our month of exclusive Hot 50 2012 coverage with a new look at the upcoming 3DS title Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate. These new screenshots show Trevor Belmont imbued with magic power, new sections of the castle, and even give us a glimpse at the game's menus. Looks good, and the controls seem pretty simple. Looking to be another hit for the stellar series.

I'll keep it on my radar. I don't know exactly how the game will feel when I play it, but I'm optimistic. The first Lords of Shadow is still high on my wishlist.

I really liked Lords of Shadow and the E3 trailer for Lords of Shadow 2 was amazing. But, I still unsure of this portable's quality.

I am a little sad to see it only on 3DS but it's finally a strong argument for me to look into the hardware. $169 doesn't seem like too much to ask, but I can't help but think it could have been $129 - $149 and slightly more powerful if the screen was only 2D. Fingers crossed for a 3DS-2D with dual analogs?! Nah, too much to ask...
