Little Inferno Teaser Trailer Looks Bleak

The next game from the makers of World of Goo is a game about children burning their toys in order to stay warm.

There is a happy song playing, and the children seem perfectly fine with tossing their favorite toys in the flames, but there seems to be a terrifying undertone to the whole teaser. We're still not sure exactly what the game is about, but it seems dark, despite the raging fire. The game will be available this winter on Wii U, PC, Mac, and Linux. If you pre-order the game through Tomorrow Corporation's website, you can gain access to the beta.

You can find out more about the game by checking out its original announcement here.

  • I loved world of goo. will absolutly check this out.

  • Oh no, I seem to only think of Binding of Isaac when I see kids doing stuff with dark undertones... >_> Here's to what probably turns out to be a trick luring them into Hell as they burn away their possessions one by one... :3

  • seems cool weird but cool

  • Looks good, World of Goo was a great amount of fun on Wii. I also have it on Steam, which is also very, very fun. The developers have a lot of promise, the only critique that I can think of is that the art styles from world of goo looks the same as little inferno.
  • I'm not sure if there's a story, let alone gameplay, but I want this.
  • This looks... disturbing. I'll wait until it comes out though before blowing it off entirely.
  • Wow!!! that was really dark and something else.

  • That definitely is a little creepy.

  • That was screwed up.

  • I like the art style.

  • Alright, they have my attention.

  • omg this looks really messed up, I don't know what to say

  • Sounds amazing.

  • Haha.... I got this box of memories... I want this

  • looks creepy

  • That officially creeped me out....maybe you take on the role of a toy, trying to escape the flames?

  • I am truly alarmed. Therefore, I will purchase it.

  • I listened to the whole trailer while, unbeknownst to me, I had different music playing in the background.  I was about to comment, "Wow, I love this song!"
