- June 25, 2012 - Sony Tablet S with version 1.0.0 First trial issue (assassins creed 3) loaded fine...kinda glad videos were cached so I could watch them away from net connection. Switched over my subscription tho, and the july issue is stuck "importing"....also what is the 'store' tab? Just grey screen for me. - June 23, 2012 - Samsung Galaxy Nexus with version 1.0.0 I've been waiting for a GI app and this doesn't disappoint. So much better than using the browser to read. All extra content is easy to access and seamless. Would be five stars if I could read in portrait mode. Other than that, it's beautiful. Thank you, Game Informer crew! - July 4, 2012 - EeePad Transformer TF201 with version 1.0.0 The app itself is pretty janky upon first use, but once you get into an actual issue (which oddly took more time "importing" than the actual download AND the importing process bogged down my tablet like crazy) the function is pretty solid. The interactive features like screenshots and videos work well for the most part. The main drawback I noticed was that the video pop ups tend to not be formatted correctly and have maybe a third of the video cropped out. My main gripe is why are the issues are only designed in landscape view. That is not the best way, in my opinion, to consume magazines and the like, especially on 10in. devices, but cest la vie. Not a bad start GI |
