Student names were submitted by schools around the region, more than 300 in all. Editors narrowed it down to students who have top grades and nationally recognized honors. We were impressed by so many students, it was difficult to choose just 20. But these are our picks, and we congratulate them all. We asked them about their plans for the fall, scholarships, career plans and hobbies. We have no doubt they'll all do great things in the future, and we hope you enjoy meeting them as much as we did.
